Here’s a rarity:
|Illuminated Heinkel Dealer Sign|
It’s an illuminated dealer sign from a New York Heinkel Dealership. As you may know Heinkel scooters were imported into the US in the late 1950’s and early 1960’s. Their luxury pricetags meant that few were ever sold (estimates range from 150-300).
This is a two sided sign that bolted to a building and extended out perpendicular to the wall, maybe over the sidewalk.
Here’s the mounting bracket:

The entire sign is about 4 feet long, 12 inches high, and 6 inches wide.
I’m building a box to ship it off to a Heinkel scooter enthusiast.
Have you ever seen a sign like this? Let me know. We think it might be a one of a kind.
