Centerstands take a lot of abuse on every kind of scooter. I’ve restored Vespas, Lambrettas, Heinkels and now a Bella, and every one of them required repair. The ones for my Bellas were particularly bad, one of them so much that I was afraid the scooter would stay upright once I installed my big battery.
The stands had three main wear areas: the mounting holes, the area where the stand rests against the frame, and the bottom that rests on the ground.
The mounting holes become elongated over time They arent listed on the lubrication chart. One of mine was worn about 2mm and the other one was closer to 6.
I repaired this by drilling out the elongated holes and inserting new spacers:

I used a step drill and drilled the holes through to to 7/8″ (22mm) because that was the only step on the drill bit that would give me a clean hole.

I made new spacers that were slightly smaller in diameter and were flanged because the hole spacer hole was now bigger than the bolt head.

That fixed the spacer issue.
The area that made contact with the ground was extermely worn. Half of the stand was worn away:

I fixed this by welding on a piece of pipe that was the same diameter.

That fixed one of the stands. The other stand needed even extra metal. I think the cause of this is the third wear area on the stand.:

I couldnt get in there to fix the wear, so adding extra metal to the bottom seemed like a good plan to compensate.
I painted, greased and reinstalled the stand. All seems fine now. .
