Charcuterie boards are very popular and make great gifts. I decided to combine CNC shaping and hollowing techniques with a striped wood selection. For these boards I used a combination of cherry, maple, wenge, mahogany and walnut.

The first step is to glue up the blanks:

Then I designed the shape of the board in Fusion 360. On some of the boards I decided to depress the center area to prevent spills from items on the boards.

After sanding through 400 grit I finished with two coats of food-safe mineral oil. Then they were ready for gifting!
