Summer 2023: Current Scooter Project- Heinkel 103-A1
This is my fourth Heinkel scooter restoration. I bought the scooter in Pennsylvania in November after seeing an ad for it in the spring on Facebook. I communicated with the seller and we eventually agreed on a price that made sense. I made a 760 mile (1266 km) ,one day round trip to Pennsylvania coal country to retrieve it. I was initially attracted to the scooter because of the very long single person ownership condition and quality of the original paint.
