Where to Begin?

The first thing I needed to do was to take stock of what I had. Both cars were now in significantly worse shape than I expected. The damage most likely occurred in the local, not trans-Atlantic container shipment.
I spoke to my local body shop experts (ABC AutoBody Care Plus) and got an assessment of what could be done. The good (actually, the “not so bad” news) was that they were both repairable, but it would cost a fair amount of money. Both cars had dents and damage but the bodies were not warped or distorted.. The red car, which appeared to be the better of the two, had a significant amount of body filler that had to be removed in order to be fixed properly. So, off to the body shop for a “few weeks”.
